| Eddie Ernest-Jones continued his amazing imrovement lowering his lifetime best by 27 seconds
with a mark of 28:55.60 in a 12th place finish at the prestigous Payton Jordan Invitational held at Stanford
University. This mark in conjunction with a 13:51 5000m earlier this season will place Eddie in consideration
for International Team Competition for his native Great Britan. |

| Doubled prize money for American Athletes brought added depth to the Elite Field in the annual
right of spring held in Spokane attracting 50,000 runners. Cynthia Mauzerall led a tight GBRC women's group
with a 33rd place finish in her best Bloomsday since 2003. Four GB women finished the 7.5 mile course in less
than 2:00. Kevin Sheehy continued his drastic improvement at age 39 with a lifetime best on the course in his
9th consecutive year competing in the elite field. |
