| Andy is back! "2006 winner and former Robie Creek Champion; Andy Stauffer won the RWTA 5000 on a perfect running morning at Julia Davis Park. Andy Stauffer of the Greater Boise Running Club ran a great tactical race, staying with 2 time RWTA champion Kevin Sheehy for the first 2 miles, Rhet Hulbert, also from the GBRC ran a few yards behind them. With one mile to go, Andy Stauffer started to move away from Sheehy and Hulbert. Andy showed great form and speed while finishing first, Hulbert second and Sheehy third. A great display of speed and good running form of these three GBRC athletes. The Greater Boise Running Club took the first top three overall places." --Jose Fuentes, Race Director On the Women's side, Kelly Stauffer returned to racing this year with an impressive 3rd place finish. |
