GBRC ATHLETES HAVE STELLAR WEEKEND ON THE NATIONAL STAGE

At two of the most prestigous events held in the country during the first weekend of October Greater Boise Running Club athletes ran some of the finest races of their careers. At the USATF National Women's 10 Mile Championship held in Minneaopolis Holly Fleming followed her Olympic Trials performance from last spring's marathon with a 22nd place finish. Cynthia Mauzerall (Olympic Trials '04) finsihsed 26th. Eddie Ernest-Jones won the Charles Bowles Invitational (the largest cross country race in the west) hosted by Willamette University with Kevin Peters finishing second to complete a rare 1-2 sweep of the open section of the meet.
